The purpose of the wedding favor is to send your guest home with something that conveys your appreciation for them attending your event and sharing in your big day. What you don't want to end up sending your guest home with is something that isn't meaningful to them that they'll either discard when they get home or add to their ever growing collection of wedding swag that they feel too bad to throw away. This doesn't mean you need to spend a large chunk of money either, be creative and get personal and your guests will feel the love.
The wedding I attended this past weekend did just that. The favors, which were placed inside the neatly folded napkins, read, "All you need is love, Kids On Love & Marriage", and included 6 adorable quotes from kids on what they thought about love and marriage. The best part about these favors was that there were no two cards alike at each table. It didn't take long for our table to figure that out and before long we were all reading our quotes out loud to each other and laughing with one another. It was truly a memorable favor for us all.
